13 years ago, DesignerCon (aka DCon, presented by 3DRetro) debuted at the Pasadena Convention Center and quickly became the West Coast’s premier convention for fans, collectors and creators of cutting-edge collectible art and vinyl toys. Now, DCon is moving to the Anaheim Convention Center, tripling in size to 350,000 square feet of vendor exhibition and programming space.  

NOVEMBER 16-18, 2018

Last year, over 37,000 fans and families attended the show to buy world-class, cutting-edge art and related merchandise from popular world-class contemporary artists and brands. This year, the number of vendors and artists is doubling to over 800, and attendance is expected to exceed 50,000.

Jurassic Park 25th Anniversary Art Experience
DCon and Universal Pictures have teamed up to create a very special art show experience to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park movie. Artists from around the world will contribute their original pieces to the show. Some of the most popular poster artists around will also feature limited prints only available during DCon. Plus, pick up the exclusive, Jurassic Park vinyl art toys made especially for this event!


Chevy Metal After Party
The Saturday night after party is one you won't want to miss with feature band Chevy Metal blowing the roof off the Anaheim Convention Arena. Join us and 5000 of the DCon VIPs as we party it up with this amazing cover band and watch for special "guests" to come on stage and cut loose with the band.

Secret Walls After Party
DesignerCon and Secret Walls have teamed up once again to bring "the battle of the artists" to the Saturday night after party. MC'd by Greg Mishka, the battle will feature two teams of artists who only have 60 minutes to impress the crowd with their art using only black markers. The crowd of DCon VIPs will be the decision makers of what team gets to crown themselves champions!

Johnny Cupcakes Limited Edition Tee Drop
Clothing designer Johnny Cupcakes once again teams up with DesignerCon to make exclusive, limited edition tees for the show. Every year the JC designs draw in collectors from around the world to pick up these exclusive tees. Don't forget about the one design which can only be purchased at the after party!

Medicom Joins DCon
World famous Medicom Toys has teamed up with DesignerCon to be its exclusive show in the United States, bringing the most exciting Japanese artists and collectibles to the show. If you love Be@rbricks or any of the other amazing products that Medicom produces then you won't want to miss the exclusives, made only for DCon by the company.

Making her art debut in the US for the first time, artist and model Lauren Tsai will showcase her latest artwork. Lauren made her debut to fans in Japan with Terrace House and has quickly created a following for her art. Most recently Lauren has worked with such companies as Marvel to showcase her artistic talents. Attendees of the show will be able to purchase exclusive originals and prints made by Lauren for the show.

DCON is bringing a crowd.

And so is Anaheim.

The Anaheim Convention Center first became a meetings and conventions destination in 1967, and the original construction consisted of the domed Arena, which stands on Katella Avenue, an Exhibit Hall and Meeting Space. Since those early days, the Anaheim Convention Center has completed a total of 6 expansions plus several cosmetic renovations to update the Convention Center. Five of the major expansions provided additional exhibit hall and meeting room space. While the 5th expansion, completed in January 2000 resulted in a complete transformation of the Anaheim Convention Center and surrounding campus, the most recent expansion, completed in January 2013, was the Grand Plaza, a 100,000 square feet of exterior space offering meeting planners the opportunity for large outdoor gatherings including alfresco dining, concerts, receptions, exhibitions, meetings and more.

It's right next to Disneyland and nearby multiple airports with shuttles directly to its front doors (including LAX). It's one of the West Coast's most accessible locations for an international audience of the magnitude DCon brings.

3DRetro was founded in 2003 by Ben Goretsky and his passion for collectible toys. 3DRetro supplies the best and hardest to find collectible figures from around the world. 3DRetro also produces collectible vinyl figures with artists from around the world including such names as Gary Baseman, Touma, Nathan Ota, Jeremy Fish, COOP, Brandi Milne and so many more. In 2013 3DRetro opened its retail location in Glendale, CA making it a hot spot for collectors. The store hosts multiple release parties throughout the year and features signings with artists from around the world.

Hijinx Arts is a Los Angeles based PR & Management firm that specializes in promoting artists, galleries and special events. The team offers a wide array of scalable, fully-integrated public relations and marketing services to work hand in hand with their clients.

Think Tank Gallery is an alternative arts space and immersive production company founded in Downtown Los Angeles in 2010. They build themed experiences around the country, and hide content in every corner. From building a coffee house in a warehouse with patio performances, to running a skate park in a gallery streaming video feeds through the ramps, to running a month of events in a giant cake wonderland with Cirque du Soleil, Think Tank Gallery nails the branding without upsetting the vibe. They create meaningful – not mindless – entertainment.
